I am reading the “Awaken the giant within” by Anthony Robbins. I must say that I was expected to be blown away by the content. Needless to say, I have not been disappointed.
I have listened to many of Tony Robbins podcasts. Have also watched the Netflix ‘ I am not your guru’. As you would expect I like the way Tony Robbins thinks and delivers his positive energy in all his messages.
I was late to the party in becoming a fan, although I have often heard of Tony Robbins I had not engaged in any of his content although I had enjoyed listening to his one of his mentors, the late great Jim Rohn.
So after actually starting to engage in Tony Robbins material, I was annoyed at myself for not getting involved sooner.
Fan or Not
So right now, irrespective of what you may think of Tony Robbins, being a fan or not. I would highly encourage you to read this book ‘Awaken the giant within”. The amount of people he has helped through the work that he has done and through the book is staggering.
Helping people identify limiting beliefs that are holding them back, that they didn’t even know they had. It is invaluable.
The purchase of the book os such a small investment into the impact it could have on your life and also the lives of those around you, as you change you will be positively be impacting those around you just by the natural cause of life.
If you really want to get a great deal the is also a three-book bundle for not much more investment.
“You get Awaken the giant within”
“7 Simple Steps To Financial Freedom”
So grab all of these books for a great price and as you read and absorb the content you will change your life for the better. I know even though I knew about limiting beliefs and being very aware to not be restricted to them, the way Tony Robbins explains and the detail he provides is truly amazing. It improved my understanding of limited beliefs and highlighted things that have been holding me back my whole life. Not any more – Thank you, Tony.
We all have to deal with failures and many challenges throughout life. How we deal with these failures and challenges will shape our lives more than we think. Many people need a push before they make any significant changes, mainly due to fear of failure. Are you ready to face these failures and unexpected challenges in a positive way? What will your life be if you do?
We all have things that lured us into our various professions. The promise of uncapped commissions and the potential to better control of income is what attracts most people to the sales profession. It is precisely what seduced me. I loved that the harder I work, the more commission I earn.
However, the conventional working manner (of studying hard get a good job and you are secure for 40 years), has been changing for many years. Even though many, including me, have been in denial about the severe changes in the various professions especially the sales profession.
We know the working 40 years for the same company no longer is the status quo. Even working for one company more than 10 years is becoming rare. With the advances in digital technology, things are changing even quicker and many are finding they need to re-skill and many are opting for starting a business online.
This pandemic we all find ourselves in is one of the major contributors to millions having to change their jobs and professions and many are considering starting a business online. We are in a unique environment with the Covid-19, and no one could have predicted this pandemic or the effect it has had on the whole world. However, even before this pandemic, the conventional work system has been changing for many years.
Most people need a push before making a change
Many people need a push before they make any change and this may be a significant issue which forces the change. Millions of people lost their jobs or forced salary deductions may be the push people need to start looking for other income streams. And many have started looking to the internet for a viable income option.
One of the biggest fears people have
However, making a considerable change usually is one of the biggest fears people have, it keeps them from making the changes they know they should make. These people tend to be dominated by fear.
“Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.”
Do you want the control?
If you want to be in better control of your income and not have to be dictated by a boss or a company, then take control of your income. You will have full control over your income and working environment in your own business.
There is a way you don’t have to put yourself under unnecessary pressure for the business to immediately provide your full income. You can ease this pain by starting a business online and building alongside your full-time job (perhaps 2-3 hours a day) until you can earn enough to quit the 9-5 job.
“The best time to start a business was yesterday, the second-best time to start a business is today.”
So don’t wait for tomorrow to be in the same position.
There are also others who have possibly tried starting an online business and for various reasons may have failed. Now they may need to look at the online business option again, may immediately be intimidated by their failures.
“One of the biggest challenges in anyone’s life is knowing how to interpret failures. How we deal with life’s defeats and what we determine is the cause will shape our destinies. We need to remember that how we deal with adversity and challenges will shape our lives more than almost anything else.”
You have the choice
So as you decide if you are going to start an online business, you need to consider what your life would be like in 12, 24, 36 or even 60 months from now.
Will you be frustrated if your salary lowered or if you are made redundant? Or there is some reason for the company to reduce your income? Will you be looking at quitting the daily grind as you have been building your online business on the side and now earn more in your part-time business than you do in your full-time job?
You don’t know what you don’t know
Another fear people have is they don’t know what they don’t know. They don’t know what business they are able to start. Many think their value they have to offer the world is restricted to their limited life experiences. Therefore they think they have nothing worthwhile to offer the world. They fear they are going to waste their time and their effort and not have anything constructive to offer.
“Comfort and the fear of change are the greatest enemies of success.”
Discover your value through the training
However, most people who start the training program soon realize the vast value they can offer. They also discover other options they never thought of doing. However, after going through the training and developing new skills and discovering interests they see opportunities in the areas they didn’t even know existed a few weeks earlier.
“I woke up this morning and realized I don’t have what it takes to sit back and be average.”
An exciting journey – love waking up in the morning
When you start taking action, the excitement shoots off the charts. It is an exciting journey of self-discovery and possibility. will discover passions and interests you didn’t even know you had. And when you can build a business around those interests your love waking up in the morning and growing to work, not because you have to but because you want too. What a great feeling. Very satisfying.
“Why settle for average when amazing is attainable?”
Starting a business online doesn’t have to be stressful; you can build the business while still working your full-time job.
“Normal is the wrong name often used for average.”
Henry S. Haskins
Build your business alongside your day job, no need to earning a full-time salary from the get-go.
You will be able to start by putting in a few hours a day and slowly learn the new skills and build the business slowly not having to depend on this income which you would be wise to reinvest in the business. Therefore you will be able to grow quicker and the money invested doesn’t affect your full-time income as it is the extra income you have made.
“You stop being average the day you decide to become a champion because the average person won’t make that decision.”
The first thing you need is a good mentor. Now just a quick search online will give you a considerable result of people happy to teach and take your money, but how do you know which are good or which to stay away from.
Well, in my experience over many years I had made many costly decisions by searching and following various online trainers. Until I finally got recommended to my now mentor and his training program.
The reason I looked at the training program confidently is that I saw what success my friend had achieved and that he recommended it so highly.
After I watched the Free Training, so impressed I found (even though it was by recommendation) a training program so authentic. I immediately felt the trainers genuinely wanted to see my business grow. They weren’t just interested in selling their training courses and then you never hear from them again. The opposite is actually the case. The variety of training and the consistent access to live training, recorded past training is awesome and then you also have a phenomenal community they are able to access and get support.
Are you the right fit?
Determining if you are a good fit for the training program is very important. They defiantly do their due diligence to make sure they are the right fit for you and that in turn, you are the right fit for them.
There are regular training programs and webinars daily you can plug into and learn the latest business and techniques from those who are further along the path. So they teach tested techniques and principals they know works so you don’t make the same costly mistakes.
“Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”
You also have training modules and over ten thousand courses. So if you are interested in going deeper into any aspect, you can find training courses by a quick search of the courses.
If you have read this far you have 3 decisions

You can probably tell that I am very excited to be offering you this FREE training, but the moment you start watching the training you will understand why I am so excited – it is that good. However if for whatever reason you don’t think of is for you delete the email. No worries.
Irrespective of your age or life experience, you most probably will agree that life is full of ups and downs.
When things don’t go as planned, we immediately think things have gone wrong. So if something happens and throws us slightly off-balance we tend to start doubting ourselves and our abilities.
We all want things to go well. Above all, we want to be winners. So when things don’t go as planned or expected, it can be tough. However, life always throws challenges at us, and we realise we can’t control everything.
Now it’s not what happens that counts, its how you deal with what happens that makes the difference. These strategies will also be helpful if you are considering starting a digital business.
Here are three easy ways that you can always come out on top.
1. Focus on Strengths
We are all an accumulation of contradictions. Sorry to break it to you.
Sometimes we are happy, sad, hopeful, pessimistic, childish or mature.
Even though we consist of many strengths and weaknesses, affecting everything we do, we tend to put more focus on our weaknesses rather than our strengths.
“Focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses. Focus on your character, not your reputation. Focus on your blessings, not your misfortunes.”
Roy T. Bennett
A strength is something we do consistently well, near-perfect level of performance. Therefore it is something we’re able to do. We are hard-wired to do it well, and we have an inherent satisfaction when doing it.
Therefore it could be things like tackling and solving complex problems. Perhaps you find it easy to empathise with people. In other words, you may have a lively imagination, or you find it easy to throw ingredients together and make a fantastic meal without a recipe.
Doesn’t it make sense to focus on what we do well, with ease than concentrating on all the things that make us struggle?
When we look at what you’re not good at we feel inadequate about our abilities. However, when we focus on our strengths, we are better positioned to get results.
I know a man who hated public speaking, and he identified public speaking as one of his weaknesses.
As he progressed in his career, he found himself needing to perform more presentations which made him shudder and freeze. However, this fear even made him forget parts of his presentation, never able to perform at his best.
The moment he changed his focus from his weaknesses to his strengths, he was surprised to find that he had brilliant social skills. He also discovered he is great in establishing rapport with people quickly, and a great sense of humour.
So by merely focussing on his strengths, he was able to connect with each person in the audience very quickly. Thus he was even surprised at how easy it was and that he wasn’t terrified conducting presentations anymore.
So by focussing on his strengths rather than he weaknesses, he was able to deliver fun, practical and humorous presentations.
2. Set Up Ahead Of Time
We have all had times when we can go right into something and excel by achieving the intended results. Usually, when we are playing to our strengths. However, there are other times when we mess up completely, therefore don’t achieve intended results.
Irrespective of the challenges you are facing, you will stand a better chance of succeeding by planning and setting things up ahead of time.
“A goal without a plan is just a wish.”
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”
You are going to have to be clear on what exactly you want to achieve.
What are you expecting to happen?
What solution or result are you expecting?
The clearer you can be in the outcome you are hoping to achieve the clearer you are going to know what you need to prepare to accomplish the results.
Start breaking the result down into achievable steps to follow.
can you do to set things up to achieve the desired outcome?
do you need to have in place?
will help to make you want to happen?
are you willing to do to get the desired result?
Irrespective of what your desired results, it will be possible to get the results if you are crystal clear of the desired outcome and the effort needed in setting things in place to achieve the results.
You are more likely to achieve the result if you put time and effort into setting things up beforehand.
3. No Losing Anyway
What is your definition of life?
Is it getting a job,
Life isn’t a few things that are specific things. Life is a combination of many different things and events. These things change relevance or importance as your stages of life change.
In brief, it comes down to us being and doing the best for ourselves and for the people we love. Although it can be a struggle at times and other times its a joy. However, the constant in all this change, is what our capacity is to learn, develop and grow.
We have a unique, unparalleled ability to learn, develop, grow and adapt continually.
A great attitude to adopt is to consider that everything you do, irrespective if you achieve the results you want or not, is a step toward reaching your goals.
We only really achieve anything in life by doing something. It is the act of doing that moves us closer to our goals.
Tomas Edison answered after his 207th prototype for the electric light bulb –
“I am not discouraged because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.”
Thomas A. Edison
If you are ever going to get to 100%, you are going to have to go from 1% to 99% first.
If you have the right attitude, we can learn in everything we do, whether we achieve the intended results or not. Therefore it’s just part of the process and the necessary steps forward to our eventual goal.
So with the attitude of no such thing as losing, just learning, developing, growing and adapting.
Perhaps you feel that you are stuck in a rut in your life, you are no longer excited to get up in the mrning to face the day of go to work. Perhaps you are just tired of never having enough money to do the things you want in Life.
Perhaps your own digital business online working around your interests, the things that excite you. You can even start and build your business around your current job so very little risk. Get a FREE training series and find out how you can join the thousands who are starting a digital business.
This post identifies five drivers that may be holding you back from achieving your goals, finding your passion and even preventing you from fulfilment or happiness.
We have all probably been affected by these five drivers at some point in our lives. Once we know what drivers are affecting our lives, we can make the necessary changes.
However, if we don’t even know what the drivers are, nothing is going to change, and we may remain a slave or victim to these unhelpful disempowering drivers for our whole life. Perhaps we never discover our purpose in Life.
The man without a purpose is like a ship without a rudder – a waif, a nothing, a no man.
We All Are Driven By Something?
You may not immediately realize what the driving force in your life is, but there is something driving you.
I quick search of the dictionary will describe the word drive as – Verb, “to guide, to control, to direct”
So by applying this dictionary description of ‘drive’ to how we use the word drive/s in our life…
To drive (to guide, to control to direct) a car, or golf ball.
Whatever you are driving you will be guiding, controlling or directing.
So what drives your life?
What is guiding, controlling or directing your life, or how you lead or live your life?
This may be a sobering exercise, and here are five drivers that drive most people.
Five drivers are
Resentment or anger
The need for approval
Driven By Guilt
People who are driven by guilt allow their memories to manipulate them.
They often spend their entire life running from past regrets and trying to hide their shame.
They live in the past and allow their past to control their present and their future.
Driven By Resentment Or Anger
People driven by resentment or anger tend to hold onto past hurts and pains. Issues which they have never dealt with. They constantly replay these hurtful and painful memories over and over in their mind. They fail to forgive and move on.
Therefore often leading to them internalizing these hurts and pains and becoming anger. Thus very unhealthy, both mentally and physically. It is not helpful.
Being resentful only actually hurts the person that is being resentful. The person who offended you has probably long forgotten about the incident. Therefore it no longer affects them.
Driven By Fear
We have all had disappointments in our life. There may also have been traumatic experiences, or perhaps you have even set unrealistic expectations on yourself. When you didn’t achieve these expectations, they haunt you by creating a fear of repeating the past disappointments.
People driven by fear miss out on many opportunities, and many of them may even have been great opportunities all because their fear bounds them. The fear is so real that is prevents them from venturing out.
This self-imposed prison will keep people from ever truly being great or achieving or fulfilling their purpose in life.
Driven By Materialism.
In today’s world, the evidence of this fear is prevalent and is becoming the norm for many. People are driven by acquiring more in the misconception that they are going to be happy if they acquire more possessions.
The inevitable result of this drive is that the satisfaction of the acquisition is short-lived and then the desire to acquire even more persists, and the cycle continues.
Driven By The Need For Approval.
Many people are shocked when they find out as adults that their expectations their parents, schoolteachers or family members put on them still control their lives—most of the time, not in a positive way.
These adults tend to still seek their parent’s approval in the things they do, and this overflows into also giving in to peer pressures and always being concerned of what others think or most cases what other might be thinking.
Now when people know what is driving them even if it is reasoned that are not helpful, they have the choice to deal with the mind-set and overcome it.
However, if they aren’t even aware they have an unhelpful driver in their lives, sadly nothing will change. They may very well have these burdens for the rest of their lives. Never really find happiness, their passions or fulfilment.
It is so essential for us to reflect on these things. They would have affected all us to some degree sometime in our lives. If we can identify the unhelpful drivers and address them, we can look forward to a better, brighter future.
A genuinely inspirational true, current real-life testimony.
This inspirational story of Rebecca Knight a professional saleswoman. Who after various setbacks and in spite of being a mom, wife and parttime University student was able to build a very successful sales career only to have the lockdown bring her career down. How she turned her experience around and use the time in lockdown to build her own business. An option she never even thought she had.
“I’m the type of person who honestly believes I can do anything.”
This attitude has proven to be my saving grace in both my career and my personal life.
Throughout my professional sales career, I have sold everything. From hygiene services, capital equipment to advertising space. Most of these field sales positions ended in me getting fired. Or given the gentle nudge of ‘it was time to go,’ I wasn’t reaching my sales targets despite my best efforts.
Now in hindsight, I worked hard at these jobs. I did my best, but it wasn’t my passion. Let’s be honest very few could probably get passionate about copiers or feminine hygiene units, lol.
Around eight years ago, I managed to secure a great job with a fantastic company.
At the time, I thought, perhaps I was hitting above my pay grade. However, I was sure not only could I do the job, but I knew I would do the job well. All I needed was the opportunity.
I just needed the break.
It is at this company where I found my passion. I settled in and smashed company targets in the process, building an excellent reputation. I moved up the ranks to a director and even sat on the company’s trading board.
Being a woman, I always felt like a victim of lower-wage, and am 100% certain this is still the case.
Six years ago, I started studying for a BA honours degree in business management and leadership, parttime through the Open University. My hope in achieving this degree is to open doors and increased earnings to create a stable career.
It has been a tough journey working full time, studying 17 hours a week at least, while still being a mother, wife and house maker. It’s taken a tremendous amount of dedication, including the financial reality it also cost more than 10k.
My career successes have been essential financially to my family, and I felt like I was untouchable. The sky was the limit.
Suddenly without any warning – Covid-19 hit, and life just changed drastically.
Most of the staff at the company put on furlough. I now found I was not able to earn any commission, for which I was extremely dependent.
Furthermore, my salary cut to the government furlough package. I initially thought was ok. However, due to the unprecedented circumstances, I resigned myself to being happy I have a job.
The first couple of weeks of furlough were lovely. It felt like a holiday. Only to have reality hit. When I opened my payslip to discover the low amount I was paid on the furlough. The wage of 80% of your pay to a maximum of £2500. Gasping for air as I looked at the payslip, My mind started filling with all sorts of thoughts and concerns.
“To my absolute surprise, I can not remember when last I earned so little.”
The maximum £2500 deducting higher tax bracket, company car tax, student loan deduction, what’s left with is shocking. I was going to be in trouble if lockdown and furlough wage continued for the next three months.
A month into furlough, I received a message informing me the company was potentially going into administration. Resulting in 1500 of my colleagues and friends losing their job.
We had to wait another ten gruelling working days to see if there was a buyer for the company. If not, I would be on a week’s wage!!!!
I Have Worked So Hard, Yet I Felt So Helpless – My Income Being Out Of My Control
Feeling so helpless. Worked so hard progressing to a director in the company. Doing everything right, and even then, my career didn’t seem to be in my control- AT ALL!
I’ve always been a fighter. More than capable of stacking shelves in Tesco to make ends meet if that is needed. I want more out of life though.
My life was all planned out. My stable career progression, with the perks of driving a Mercedes, earning a good wage, living in a beautiful home !!!
The reality is all my hard work and progression built up for eight years is under severe threat. I have no control of the outcome.
Since this realisation, I have spent so many hours online. Searching for solutions to change the inevitable outcome of loosing my secure job.
How was I going to get control of this serve situation, primarily as very few businesses are operating nevertheless employing?
The apparent outcome of losing all I have worked for. The reality of an uncertain future is like a new world, pre and post covid19. No one really knows what we are going to face after the lockdown.
And I’m not willing to accept it instead “carpe diem”. Yes am I thinking a lot of the present but what about my future and my family’s future?
I believe there is an opportunity in every disaster. My opportunity is taking the form of reskilling and re-invent myself.
As I searched online for solutions I found myself drawn to marketing other peoples products and services online and earning commission for my efforts.
I also got excited when I realised I could start a business. Even with very little funds and grow as I learn new skills. Most important I can build and grow my own business and all my hard work will not be taken away, No way not again.
I don’t expect to make a fortune in a short space of time. However, I have found a mentor who is teaching me how to build a legitimate digital business.
A business that allows me to work with products that excite me. More importantly, something I will never have to lose. A business I can keep building, irrespective of any future pandemic.
Yes, you are probably sitting there saying girlfriend, don’t do it. Although you probably have the best intentions for me. However, I have to tell you that when it comes to business online and that sort of stuff. I was the biggest sceptic out there.
I can assure you I did my due diligence. (after all, I have all this free time at the moment). What I discovered is a legitimate community of people. Trainers and mentors who are genuinely interested in training people who want to succeed in starting their own business online.
The resources and experience they have are so awesome. It would probably take me a lifetime to acquire on my own. Yet they are so willing to guide and teach and share their resources.
Each day I wake up excited for the day ahead and learn the next step to building my digital business. I am now taking full advantage of my time in lockdown. Learning how to build MY digital business from scratch.
I know this is going to be a marathon, not a sprint. Why? Because I knew nothing about building a digital business.
The reality of losing everything I have worked for. Without having a say in the matter is still too raw in my mind and experience. I vow never to be in such a predicament again.
Over time as my business develops. I am looking to replace my income with my online income. Then scale it. With the time I am allowing and world-class training and technologies. I will be able to build a business of which I can be proud.
As I am getting the correct training and mentorship. There is no reason that in the not too distant future, my dream will become a reality.
